Our Six-Point Impact Plan

Explore our impactful programs designed to support and uplift underserved students in our communities.

1. Beyond Borders

Victory’s Special Needs School (Escuela De Victoria) in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico

In Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, children with special needs have long been excluded from education, hidden due to stigma and lack of services. Escuela de Victoria, created and fully funded by Victory Schools, is the only special needs school of its kind in the region—tuition-free and unsupported by government dollars.

Here, students are learning, growing, and thriving—some for the first time in their lives. Families often travel up to six hours just to receive a diagnosis. A powerful ripple effect has emerged: parents once confined to caregiving are returning to school themselves.

Escuela de Victoria is a bold, human-centered commitment to serving those who are too often forgotten—and leading with purpose where the need is greatest.

2. The Angel Program

Every Student Deserves Someone in Their Corner

At Victory Collegiate Academy and Victory Futures High School, students face high levels of poverty, trauma, and instability. The Angel Program pairs each student with a donor (“Angel”) who contributes $250 per year to support essential needs like school supplies, uniforms, mental health services, and extracurricular activities.

But this is more than a donation—it’s a relationship. Angels receive quarterly video updates and have the opportunity to meet or mentor their sponsored student.

Our goal: Ensure every student at both campuses has someone in their corner—personally and financially.

3. Above and Beyond

Emergency Response, Human First

When a Victory family faces urgent need, we don’t want to say, “Let us get back to you.” We want to say, “We’ve got you.”

The Above and Beyond Fund allows Victory Schools to respond instantly and compassionately to serious emergencies—no bureaucracy, no delays. Whether it’s housing insecurity, a family loss, medical expenses, or a crisis that can’t wait, this fund provides flexible, immediate relief.

We’ve used it to:

  • Rebuild a collapsed porch after a home visit
  • Fund flights to return a student’s grandparent’s ashes across the country
  • Help siblings move out of a storage unit

Cover life-saving medical care for students and their families
It’s what makes Victory more than a school. It’s what makes us a family.

4.Leveling the Playing Field

Victory’s Student-Athlete Equity Initiative

Athletics change lives—but for many of our students, the cost of participating is too high.

While wealthier students—often from predominantly white districts—play club sports year-round with paid coaches and unlimited resources, our students are often left out simply because they can’t afford gear, travel, or even transportation.

Leveling the Playing Field is our answer: a student-centered initiative modeled after college NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) programs to support students in:

  • Covering sports fees, uniforms, and club dues
  • Accessing equipment and training gear
  • Traveling to games and practices
  • Participating in Special Olympics for our students with disabilities
  • Receiving nutrition, mentoring, and visibility opportunities

Sports keep kids off the street, build confidence, and open doors. This program ensures every student who wants to play—can.

We’re not trying to create stars. We’re creating options. And sometimes, that’s everything.

5. Beyond the Tassel

Victory’s Post-Secondary Success Fund

At Victory Futures High School, many students will be the first in their families to graduate. But without financial support, the path to college or career is still blocked.

Beyond The Tassel is our scholarship and transition fund, offering up to $10,000 per student to support:

  • Tuition and textbooks
  • Housing and living expenses
  • Trade schools, certification programs, or college enrollment
  • Career transition costs like uniforms, tools, or training fees

This fund ensures graduation is not the finish line—but the starting line.

When we invest in potential, we ignite possibility.

6. Seen and Heard

Victory’s Commitment to Deaf Education

Students who are Deaf or hard of hearing are often overlooked—not because they can’t learn, but because schools aren’t equipped to support them. At Victory’s Deaf school, we’ve built a language-rich, culturally affirming environment where Deaf students can thrive academically, socially, and personally.

But true inclusion requires investment. Our students need:

  • Highly qualified Deaf educators and interpreters
  • Dual-language (ASL/English) curriculum
  • Technology like video relay services, smart boards, and captioning software
  • Visual alert systems and learning accommodations
  • Deaf mentors and cultural enrichment opportunities
  • Transition support for college or workforce readiness

Seen and Heard ensures that Deaf students are seen, supported, lifted up.

When we see Deafness as a culture—not a limitation—we don’t just accommodate students. We empower them.
